This show is an oldie but a goodie! If I could use one word to describe Pushing Daisies, I think Delightful would be that word. Ned is a pie-maker with the power to bring the dead back to life. The only catch is after he touches them, he has one minute to talk to them. If he doesn’t touch them again within the minute a life is taken for the life gained and whoever is in close proximity is killed. He uses his necromancy powers to solve murders in the area with his detective friend. The story follows Ned and his childhood love, Charlotte aka Chuck. When Ned finds out Chuck has been murdered, he touches her and can’t bring himself to let her die again so he forgoes the rule and keeps her alive. Ned cannot touch Chuck again or she will die. Watching their romance blossom all while they cannot touch is hilarious. They find themselves kissing through plastic wrap or holding hands through a prosthetic arm. Not to mention, the amazing Kristin Chenoweth is in this show!!
