Motherland Fort Salem

I haven’t been able to binge watch this show, but I felt obligated to add it to the list anyways. This show feels like a female empowerment show and I like that! In Motherland, female witches are at the top of society. These witches are required to enlist in the army to train to defeat terrorists called the Spree. Within the first minutes of the first episode, the spree had already used their powers to force hundreds of people to commit suicide. The witchcraft in the showing isn’t like normal witchcraft. They don’t chant or make circles on the ground, instead they use sounds to cast their spells. Although, I’m watching week to week and only on episode 3 this show has kept my interest. Worth checking it out!
